Feira do Cerrado 2026 is one of the main events in the co-op’s calendar. In 2026 it is to be held in Feb 4th and 5th, in Monte Carmelo, Minas Gerais, Brazil. The fair assembles solutions, technologies and business opportunities to farmers. Prior to the start of harvest period, the event is meant to gather solutions that will impact productivity, costs and quality. The fair is remarked by its strategical role for crop planning and investment within the universe of Cooxupé’s members.

The co-op assumes that the current scenario for Brazilian agribusiness demands focus and investment to add value to rural activities. For instance, farmers might invest in cost-reducing machines and implements that may lead to enhance in productivity and quality. Anticipation in purchase of ag-inputs, fertilizers, chemicals and foliar products is also consolidated as an efficient strategy in face of market oscillation.
Cooxupé’s Head of Development of Members, José Eduardo Santos Júnior, says that the reduction of risks is one of the top priorities for 2026. “Rural producers need to seek ways to reduce exposure to price variations. Operations such as barter, in which ag-inputs and machines are exchanged by coffee, help locking costs and decreasing uncertainties”, he says.
Another essential point, he says, is financial planning. “Before investing, farmers must analyze if the expected outcome worths the efforts. And whether the farm’s budget is sufficient, for not undermining cash flow. Responsible management of resources is decisive to perform next harvest safely”, he explains.
Strategical role

These opportunities bring safety to framers’ investments”, Santos Junior says.
Exhibitors of machines, implements, technologies, and financial solutions offer commercial opportunities to farmers. And these opportunities reach far beyond the commercial aspect, supporting farmers with better conditions for planning the future, preparing the crop, and protecting their assets.
