FEMAGRI: second day meets business expectations

Nearly 23 thousand people visited the Fair during the second day of the event

In the second of three days, FEMAGRI – Cooxupé’s Fair of Agricultural Machines, Implements and Inputs – remarks the optimism of coffee growers to invest in technology. Producers also search for cost reduction and improvement in quality for their coffee crops. In this regard, last Tuesday (Feb, 9), the event already expectationn by surpassing BRL 100 mln in quotations. The public has already reached 23 thousand buyers.

FEMAGRI is held in Guaxupé, a town in Minas Gerais, Brazil, where Cooxupé has its head-office. The co-op is composed of more than 18 thousand members. The Fair presents more than 12 thousand products to coffee farmers, with focus on innovation and sustainability to leverage productivity and , profitability.

The President Director, Carlos Augusto Rodrigues de Melo explains: “This is the role a  co-op must play: to grant the members open acces to innovation, technology and competitiveness in coffee market. The Fair is where farmers find good business oportunities to reduce costs and also to evolve even more in sustainability.”

FEMAGRI happens until Friday, 10th, opened to the public, with free parking and free entrance, from 8 am to 6 pm.
