Brigadeiro is a typical jam from Brazilian cuisine. It is believed to be first made in Rio de Janeiro, and it soon became paramount in birthday parties all over the country. On the other hand, coffee is the second most consumed beverage among Brazilians, ranked just after water.

Follow the receipt and learn how to prepare such a simple, fast and delicious dessert, mixing the two Brazilian beloved specialties.

Ingredients:

  • 14 oz of sweetend condensed milk (395 g);
  • 2 tablespoons of butter (with salt);
  • 3 tablespoons of cocoa powder;
  • 1 tablespoon of soluble coffee.

Preparation:

  • In a bowl, mix the condensed milk with the butter;
  • then add cocoa powder (you may sieve it before) and mix;
  • add soluble coffee and mix well;
  • pour it into a pan, over medium heat, and mix it until you can see the bottom of the pan;
  • Serve the brigadeiro jam in a coffee cup to have a surprising presentation!
